We don’t say it daily, some days its a lot some days we don’t say it at all. We save it for times when we just HAVE to say it in that momment because we are feeling the love, rather than a ‘has to be said every day thing’

However, if we did say it every day and he stopped, I’d definitely have a converstation

We say “I Love You” daily as well.  If one of us stopped saying it would be very noticed and bothersome.

Yes and yes.
I never miss a chance to tell him I love him. And he does the same.

If there were a day that he pulled away from that, I would def confront him over it and see what’s going on.

I hope things have gotten better!  We say it all day every day (haha) but I think what matters here is that you feel that something is worryingly different in YOUR relationship!  If something is making you worried, you should talk to your fiance about it – even if it’s nothing, he should be willing to talk about anything that’s making you feel unhappy, weird, etc.!

BrynneF:  It’s so hard not taking things personally, but good on him for asking for the space he needed in advance so you knew where his head was at.

Yeah we say it a lot. Took Fiance over a year to say it to me in the first place…lol catching up for missed time? We say it everynight before bed, when we leave the house in the morning, and usually at lunch time. I would know something was up if he stopped saying it.

Yes, my H & I are very affectionate with one another. We say “I love you” several times a day. I would be worried if he stopped saying it.

Not every day so it wouldn’t be weird or make me worry to not hear it. I probably wouldn’t notice a lack of initiation for a while as a result, but once I did I’d bring it up in discussion.

We both say it every day, and we’re not overly lovey-dovey people. We don’t use pet names (no “baby” or “honey” or anything like that). We’re not touchy-feely and we both enjoy our personal space. But saying “I love you” is something we both do every single day. I would definitely say something if DH stopped saying it, and he would do the same if I stopped.
