If sticking or sewing things onto a dress is not your cup of tea, why not opt for a brooch or sash?
I find it unfortunate how so many people are unresourseful when it comes to making due with a limited budget. Even if you’re not artistically inclined (I know I’m not!) you’d be surprised at what you can actually make yourself 🙂
As promised, here’s an update: I found a dress to get married at a courthouse!
I would look on Etsy…there are plenty of dressmakers who use their own photos of their dresses and not designer photos and ar very reasonable priced ($150-$300)….as far as price goes I think you’re expecting a little too much…even if you buy a sundress from a store it’s going to be more than $20. I know it’s a one time dress and I spent $300 on mine…which I thought was reasonable compared to some of the designers that cost $1000’s.
Added bonus: I can wear it again (no sunk cost)!
I hope I can fit into it on my wedding anniversaries!
