How long has it been since you heard from them? I am curious about them, I saw the ad on the classifieds and it seems too good to be true.

I had the same problem.  I paid my deposit and then never heard back from them until I filed a complaint with PayPal and got my money back.  She emailed me back after the complaint was posted saying she was really busy and what not.  Which is fine and understandable, but that doesn’t explain why she was posting on here the entire time I was trying to email her.  TAKE CARE OF THE BUSINESS YOU HAVE BEFORE TRYING TO GET NEW CUSTOMERS!

Is it even the same company?

The first poster is talking about “weddingdecortogo redcarpetseventsKY” to be scammers. The person who responded was “weddingtogo”…

Anyhow, I’ve been trying to get in touch with wedingtogo twice over the last 2 weeks (3/29 and 4/6) through PM to get some additional information and never got a response

It’s a shame too because they look like they have good deals.Frown

I aquired about renting chair covers and sashes back in Feb for my event in June.  I recieved instant answers about all my questions that I had and even recieved a quote all within 5 minutes after sending an e-mail to her.  Then I was told to go to a different website if i wanted an additional discount.  When I tried to go to the website, it told my that the website had moved or no longer exsited.  I became a little suspiscious as it sounded to good to be true for that price. Lately we all come across those “SCAMMERS” who are looking to get some for nothing in return which tend to spoil it for those who are really trying to make that honest living. But as I have done research thru out the web NO ONE CAN BEAT HER DEAL.   Today I was reading all the posts many bees had about her. Some were bad but many were good.  Seems that her business is really taking off and she is a very busy girl.  I think I will do business with her and this time will be calling her on the phone ( the old fashion way) as it seems that with today’s technology and all of our busy lives, we do not get that “QUICK” response that we are use to.  Wish me luck.

I just placed an order through her.  It did take a while to get a respone after I paid for my items, but I just received a phone call saying that my order had shipped already.  My only complaint is, I would have liked a pm or email when she received my payment saying she got it & my order would be shipped ASAP.

Ok.

IDK where to begin.

I have continued my business with her. She is legit. Just be warned, she is BEYOND SLOW AT EVERYTHING AND DOES NOT KEEP HER WORD ON WHEN THINGS SHIP.

I have almost completely planned a 100+ attendee wedding in 4 months, and she has been the biggest difficulty and sorce of stress. Because of inability to do things promptly.

Having said that her prices are amazing, and I guess to save all that money, it’s worth the hassle….

I just want to say that, Janesa, your email in all caps gave me the shudders. Brides are stressed and don’t need the added stress of getting yelled at on a board. I had a vendor do this to me who acted very unprofessionally and I cried all afternoon,  I felt so much stress over it.

Is this how you want your company to be remembered? because YOUR message to her was unprofessional. I represent my brand and name out there in the world (the non-wedding related world) and I hope you edit your post so other bees don’t see how you responded.

I started out as a concierge for a five star, four diamond hotel that was rated one of the best in the world, learning to graciously deal with people face to face, dealing with the most ridiculous of claims at times-with a smile and tact.

As a business owner, yes, someone damagin your brand is incredibly stressful, but your response could have been somthing like:

Dear X,

I noticed your thread and felt compelled to respond to it immediately. As the owner of the company in question, I do not have any record of any such business transaction with you and would love to rectify this situation with you immediately. I can be reached at XXXX or XXXX between XXXX and look forward to speaking with you in regards to this matter.

For reviews on my services, please visit XXXXX and for any other concerns, our customer service team is available between X and X.

With best regards,

X.

Let me tell you about this company.  I ordered table overlays, chair covers and sashes from them.  I paid in full through pay pal in February 2012.

As per their instructions, I contacted them the the 21 days before the wedding date and amended my numbers.  I requested that they acknowledge receipt of my email.  They never did.  We tried to call them; however, the voice mail was always full.

They claim that you will have the ordered merchandise the Monday before your wedding.  The order never arrived.  I finally got through on the Tuesday before the wedding and left a message on voice mail, which was never returned.  Finally after contacting PayPal and sending numerous emails, someone contacted us back via email on Tuesday night.  We were emailed on Wednesday morning that the shipment was being sent overnight and they would send us a tracking number.  We never received the tracking number from them and they never even acknowledged our emails or phone calls requesting the information.

I gave them the benefit of doubt and thought that maybe they shipped the order.  I contacted FedEX and UPS.  No shipment was scheduled for my address to be delivered.

However, it is now three days past the wedding date, and I am still waiting on the order.

On Friday, the day before the wedding, I had to find a rental company that could accommodate an order on such short notice.  This was very hard to do as we were having a destination wedding.  Needless to say I had to pay an additional $400 for linens.

They still have our money, and we didn’t receive the order.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY AND OUT OF MONEY!!!!!
