I’m a Canadian bee who also fell in love with a certain style of dress that I couldn’t find in stores (I also wanted sleeves and there were very few to be found when I was shopping). So I found my dream dress on Etsy!

I’ve seen some pretty similar ones on Cocomelody (haven’t ordered there, but I’ve heard good things).

Why don’t you go into some stores to try different styles on? What looks nice online might not suit you in real life.

The easy solution is to find out the make and model of the dresses you like, and then call local bridal shops to see if they can stock it.

I think everyone wants to find THE PERFECT DRESS  before you go shopping and it’s not even possible. Wedding dresses are a whole new ballgame. They are going to be prettier and more wow factor in real life then in a picture. Stuff you think you like you can try on and hate. Dress you thought would never look good are going to look amazing. I think the best thing is to just get out there and try on everything. Focus on features you really want like lace or sparkle etc. just try to go in with an open mind have someone take pictures. I didn’t realize I liked another dress until I looked at all the pictures-of me in the dresses. But the more dress you try on focus on what things you like to help narrow it down.

natasha0b :  do you have lots if time? I am also in Canada and my bff got not that style but a similarly fancy wedding dress from Ebay/China for like $100 or so but it’s hit or miss with Ebay, so to be safe she made sure the seller had good reviews and ordered with enough time to find something else if it sucked when it showed up, but it was actually exactly like the picture and worked out great for her

natasha0b :  I am in Canada as well! Are you in Toronto?? If so, the place I got my dress from has TONS of styles like that, and I think I tried almost that exact dress on!

PLEASE do not think you will not find a dress. It took me so long to find mine, I was in such despair about it. I tried on 29 dresses in total before finding the one! You will find it! I promise!

I’ll message you the stores I went to 🙂 GOOD LUCK BEE! <3

Try Nicole Spose? That is the designer of my dress and I think it is a similar vibe. (Maybe the Romance collection?)
