i got the call today that my dress is finally ready for me to try on/collect I got so excited and then really nervous.
I tried on a AU 18 and it was big on me they had to clamp it down my back so I got the AU 16 my street size is AU 14-16.
I have lost about 3kg since trying my dress on a few months back but still so worried it will not fit me I also opted for a zip instead of a lace up.
has anyone gone and tried their dress on and it be to small? Or do you think I’m just worrying over nothing? My wedding is in October so I’m stressing just a bit!

October is still ages away. If it’s tight then there’s time to lose some weight but you’ve already lost some so I think you’re worrying over nothing.

You can let out the dress if you need to, there are usually enough fabric within the seams to take out.
I ordered a size smaller than the sample in the store and the sample was actually tight on me! But we ordered it to fit my bust as it is going to be easier to take it out at the waist than to take in the bust with the particular style dress I got.
I’m sure you’ll be fine 🙂

tammy93 : I’m sure it will be fine. Just go try it!
When I ordered mine they wanted me to order a size 14 (I’m a street size 8/10) – which was their sample size I tried on and it was huge on me! She said they have to order the dress based on your biggest measurement and my hips were outside of the size 12 range. I insisted that they order the 12, as the 14 would be too big and they did. When the dress came it fit my hips perfectly =)

tammy93 : I tried my dress on about a month ago and it was too small – we couldn’t even close the back. I went on a diet and stopped eating junk and drinking, and when I went back today it now fits! So even if it doesn’t fit you have time, you can diet or get it altered, and you’ve already lost some weight so you’ll probably be fine!

My dress was a little too small in the waist. I had it taken out a bit, and it fits perfectly now. You definitely have nothing to worry about. 🙂
