- Wedding: October 2013
My wedding day is a long way off. But the way I’ve been pinning my little heart out and reading blog after blog, tip after tip, you’d think it was next month. I think about minute details that will probably change one hundred times by the time we actually get down to the wire. But I love it. I love thinking about marrying my HoneyBunny and celebrating our love with everyone we care about. It makes me happy 🙂
My fiancé and I met in middle school and lately I’ve been thinking about cool/cute/not childish ways we can honor that history at our wedding. I’ll likely only use one or two of these ideas, but I’d like to hear some opinions. What are your thoughts?
I have fond memories of these from school! I can’t tell you how many times they got taken from us by teachers, only to be replaced during recess or a free period. I wonder if one ever predicted that I’d marry my HoneyBunny? I’ve seen these used in a lot of different ways, but I think we’d probably go with programs.
These would be fun to put at tables and scrapbook later.
The chalkboard table numbers seem subtle and cute to me, and are a nice way to round out the “school” look. I am in love with the book centerpieces because not only did we meet in school, but he’s a teacher and I’m an editor! Win Win!
Lunch bag favors! I love these! I don’t know that we’d do something quite as formal, but I think these are stinking adorable! We could do any kind of favor inside, but I was thinking lunch type snacks like a bottle of water with a custom label, a pudding cup, some candy, cookies, or even some sort of wedding-themed eraser or pencils. Love it!
Cookies and milk favors! The cartons in this picture are actually the favor boxes and the cookies go inside! So adorable!
Ok, so as you can see, I’m probably going a little overboard. If you stuck with me and looked at all the pictures, please let me know what you think. Or feel free to suggest other ideas! Thanks!
