Here’s a quickie table mock-up I did this afternoon. That’s not my actual table cloth, and I can’t decide if I want to use ivory tablecloths or white (so that the plates “pop” a bit).
My colors are navy and khaki. We are big readers and gamers (notice the dice?). The flowers are just fake mockups at this point; I want to use real hydrangeas.
I can’t decide if I like the blue votives, or if I want to just use square clear glass votives. I also think I will make square burlap table covers rather than the runner style, since our tables are 60″ round tables.

Very cute, and I like the color of the blue votives. It helps bring just enough accent in.

I LOVE IT!!!!!
I say stick with the blue votives and even the runner style…. not sure how it’d look with more burlap.. idk I think I’d have to see the squares to see which I liked better.
I like the way it is now ALOT! =D
I can see the pro pics already!!!!! <– Don’t forget to put this as a details shot for your photog to get. 😉

I think it is really cute!

Very nice! I would like either/or-blue or clear glass votives.

I tend to think less is more, so I would ditch the extra scrabbles lying on the table (or spread then down the table) along with the votives and whatever those little blue chunks are 🙂

I’m with MsCricket. The books, flowers, and saying tiles are good on their own. Unless the actual tables are bigger, than I would just spread the rest out more.

I actually really like the scattered tiles. I can just see your guests forming their own words with them – a total conversation starter! As someone who is also planning on having dice on our tables (FI is a gamer), I gotta say that I love the dice too!
