The first thing I think of is beer: Karl Strauss, Ballast Point, STONE…

Maybe Phil’s BBQ sauce?

Temecula wines…

If I may ask, what is your budget per bag and how many bags are you looking to create?

There are so many local-to-San Diego vendors out here and they will probably offer discounts based on volume purchased. I’ve listed some of them for you privately but I’ll repeat them here in case there are other SD brides who are also looking:

Carlsbad Gourmet, Rubio’s, Jack-in-the-Box, Stone Brewery, Temecula Olive Oil Company, there are a multitude of Temecula-based wineries, apple products from Julian, Jer’s Chocolates, Chuao Chocolatier, Nana’s Cookie Company, PETCO (for the pet owners), Callaway, Taylormade, Cobra Golf, Island’s Burgers, Kashi, Hotdog on a Stick, Alesmith Brewing, Chicken of the Sea, and a ton of local brewers.

With San Diego being so close to Mexico, I would look into Mexican snacks too. Those are usually inexpensive and local grocers have a wide variety.

We used these San Diego tote bags and filled them with snacks, maps, & tourism pamphlets.  Our guests loved them!

@LindsayClayton:  Ooooer! Those are awesome. Where did you get those? All of my FH’s guests are from Out of Town. Those would be perfect!

Sorry for the delayed comment.  I actually designed the graphic as a poster.  I had the canvas tote bags printed for my wedding last year & our guests LOVED them.  We filled them with local maps, brochures, snacks (shop @ dollar store, costco, walmart) & water.

The tote is available for purchase on Etsy.  The price for each one is $10 but I can definately offer quantity discounts if you contact me directly.
