“Who gave you advice this dress was appropriate for your body? you are wearing a cover up arn’t you? why would you choose such a dress for yourself so plain” UGH! as I stood there holding my dress in my damn spanxs my seamstress took measurments to change my zipperd back to a corset dress and she decides to say this to me? I feel so terrible! My wedding is a month away, I don’t have time to be looking for a different dress and I hear this! I didn’t know what to say because I was shocked to hear such a thing! I am second guessing my decision and am ready to run to the stores all weekend looking for something else, but with no budget to do so I just can’t put myself in debt.
I am wearing a dolly couture manhattan dress, wanted a corset back instead of a zipper, am feeling so very very sad about my dress now. Does that mean it looks horrible? is it not flattering? makes me look bigger than normal? oh why of all days does this have to happen? I am not one to dress up and not one to make a fuss, I have been struggeling for awhile to lose this weight and I feel worse today than I have in a long time. I wish there was other seamstress’s around because I would have gladly took my buisness else where.
Has this happened to anyone else? my dress won’t be ready for 2.5 weeks and it’s going to drive me crazy, as soon as I get it I am posting pictures, definately need the hives help with this one. FYI I am 5’6 wearing about a size 14/15 pants with a xl shirt, not that it helps, ugh I am off to the gym better to work out than to eat lol

@mrsctobee: what. the. eff.
I would have taken my dress from her and marched right out the door. And if that’s not an option for some reason I would have told her what’s what. So rude. Please go review her online for other brides to see, maybe after you get the dress back.
I’m sure you look beautiful, would love to see a photo.

Ew! Was it a language barrier?

Show us a photo! You probably look like a knockout! And goodness, find a new seamstress!

That lady is insane! She should never say that to a client! Don’t listen to her, I am sure you look AMAZING in your dress! Take your business elsewhere, she doesn’t deserve your money!

OMG! I would have walked out, WITH my dress! Are you positive you can’t take it somewhere else!?!? What a major jerk! I bet you look beautiful in that dress. Do not pay any attention to her!

Oh my god. She did not. Get your dress and find another seamstress, please.

oh. em. gee. This lady sounds awful. I don’t know what I would have done — probably nothing, because I’d have been so shocked. Post a pic if you have one — I bet you look fantastic. 5’6 and size 14 sounds beautiful to me.

@mrsctobee: Honey, you are perfect, right now, the way you are! You march back into that harpie’s ramshackle hell hole, ask to see a manager, if she’s all there is, you get your dress back, your money back and tell her you wouldn’t give her your business even if she was endorsed by Coco Chanel!

@mrsctobee: Repeat after me….I am beautiful inside and out! Believe it honey!!! If there is still time, I would take my business elsewhere. If it’s too late , after you pick up your dress from this miserable bitch, write the nastiest review and post it everywhere in hopes that you’ll save another woman from having her heart ripped out of her chest by this cold hearted witch!
