(Closed) Seamstresses or others, is it easy to make this into a sweetheart?

David’s was probably pushing not to do it because they have a deal with the designers that they aren’t allowed to change the ‘look’ of the dress.  I saw it on another post here, and they also told me the same thing when I asked for that alteration.  For the record, I think this is crazy stupid.  The designer won’t know whether David’s did it or if we had it done somewhere else.. and they’re missing a chance to make more money on additional alterations.

Seems like you should be able to find an independent seamstress to do it.  Not sure if I trust someone else enough though.  (Main reason I want it on my gown is to make the dress more distinct from a couple recent family member’s wedding dresses.)

I think it’d look really pretty if you had it actually sweethearted.  I’d be afraid of just using a pin or brooch…that stuff never seems to hold anything the way I want it to.
