I tried on dresses at Amy Kuschel, Jinza, and Trish Lee — wasn’t charges for trying on anywhere (is that a thing?), and was able to take pictures at all 3 as well. I ultimately purchased a custom dress from Trish.

If you’re willing to leave the city, there’s Gesinee’s Bridal in Concord (highly recommend) and Trudy’s in Campbell.  Both have a great selection and allow you to take pics.

Nordstrom in Union Square has a bridal salon.  I think you need an appointment, but there shouldn’t be a fee to try on dresses.

I went to Paris Connection in SOMA (small selection, I think was consignment only), Nelly’s Bridal in South SF (great service, and that’s where I bought my dress!), and Janene’s Bridal all the way out in Alemeda (I know it’s far, but was sooo good in terms of selection it’s my highest recommendation if you can get out there).

I also messaged Bridal Image but they said they mostly just carry fit and flare, which I knew I didn’t want, so didn’t end up going in.

There is a BHLDN at the Stanford Shopping Center inside the Anthropologie.
