@EJMartin_FutureMrs:  I don’t really have any suggestions, I just wanted to say HELLO to a fellow Cleveland-er bride 🙂 We didn’t look into anywhere downtown.. What about the Galleria, or Botanical Gardens? We’re on the East side.. so our search was out that way.

(Lakewood resident)

The actual Lakewood park is nice but mildly far from downtown- not more than 15 minutes though. With your date (Labor Day weekend)- Edgewater Park will be swarming with people so I’d stay away from there. Its closer to downtown.

Ya know, the courthouse in downtown is supposed to be absolutely gorgeous! I haven’t been there myself but it was listed as a top wedding place on some site. There’s also a park (Voinovich Park) downtown and its on the water’s edge. Its right behind the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I’ll keep thinking!

PS- West is Best! lol

We’re having our ceremony outside at the Hanna Garden at the Western Reserve Historical Society. It’s $1250 for 2 hours and includes chairs and a backup indoor gallery in case of rain.

Great Lakes Brewery in Ohio City has an outdoor patio that can be covered, as well as some reservable rooms.  No idea if you could have the ceremony there, though.

You know what…its the Air Show that weekend….Voinovich must be totally nixed. Have you talked to the aquarium? They do weddings there.

I’d try Lakewood Park or somewhere inside because downtown could be sloppy with the show. At least crowded….

Where’s your reception?
