Ahhh yes another sears hatter. After some serious issues with the warranty program I pulled my entire registry at sears and will not shop there anymore for any reason at all. I feel your pain there just a really bad company to deal with.

Why don’t you order the ones you’re thinking about and then return them if they don’t work out? Luckily Sears is pretty good with returns although I know the situation isn’t ideal and the dresses won’t be here by the weekend.

Sears is really going down the drain though, hence why they are closing so many stores in Canada. Actually, I thought I heard they were closing the Ottawa one? Maybe that adds to why they don’t have the dresses if the rumor I heard was true.

@MrsSawyer:  There are a few stores in Ottawa so that should be a huge issue unless you where at that specific stores.

@Nicoso:  Which location where you at? I was born and raised in Ottawa and know what you meen about the poor attitude staff give you. We originaly set up a registry at the st-laurent location and am so happy we are now with The Bay. They were much easier to deal with and had a lot more perks and a wider selection of product.

I’m another Sears hater. We had an awful time trying to buy off of a registry for a friend.

Sorry about your dresses though 🙁

It’s not just Canada, US too. I’ve given up shopping on Sears website. You can see the option where you can click “see Sears products only” but once you do, everything goes away. It’s really disappointing.

We looked into Sears for our registry too, but decided against it.  My mom has been a dedicated Sears shopper for years.  She just recently closed her account and cut up her card due to some really bad customer service and policy changes.

Fiance is a Sears-hater as well.   They’re horrible at honouring the warranty of Craftsman tools (which are crappy enough to break often so you need the warranty).

They keep telling me my sewing machine is fine when it jams up every single time I use it. I take extremely good care and am not putting through things it shouldnt be able to handle and still. Last time I sent it in it took 5 weeks to get cleaned and the time before was 9 weeks. I sell my quilts that I sew so not having your machine is loosing serious money.

Yeah we have a registry with Sear but we’ve went out and registered somewhere else. We’re debating whether or not to even tell people we’re registered with Sears.

@adnama:  I actually closed mine down. Everything I wanted I can get somewere else so why deal with them.

@Nicoso:  Ive never been to the carlingwood locations. Ive always disliked the st-laurent location and never had an opinion on the Rideau store.

Do any of your girls overlap in size? Maybe you can order one and judge from there one up one down or stay there. Afterwards they can order the rest.

Yes. I know what you mean! I hate that they don’t carry their own stock. WTF?  I am so fed up with sears I will not have a registry there. I am in Toronto and it is terrible. It is right next tot he Bay as well, so I just go there for similar items.

Why don’t you just order online and return the ones you don’t like.
