So after seeing all the lovely posts on Seashell bouquets and the beautiful pictures, I’ve decided to do my own! I got so excited that I went to the store last night, gathered all my supplies, and stayed up until almost 1am making one! I have 5 (or 6) to make, so I still have a looooong way to go and I consider this one my prototype. What I want to know is, before I make 5 more of them, are there any design changes you’d suggest? Any details to add? This is a bridesmaid’s bouquet (5″ base) and mine would be slightly bigger (6″). The only thing missing from this that I might do is get some of those tiny blue glass stones (the kind used in vases) and glue them in to give it some bling. So without any further ado… ideas? Suggestions? Seriously, any input, good or bad, is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
PS sorry I don’t know how to make the pictures smaller!!!

Very pretty and theme appropriate! I agree that the addition of blue sea glass would really make the ribbon pop. Looks a bit dangerous though. Don’t trip on your way down the aisle. You might lose an eye. 😉

what about maybe getting the drilled blue glass beads and putting a gold or silver wire to them, instead of gluing them to the shells, i think it would make it really pop, but other than that i think you did great i love it!

I never saw anything like that before, but it looks great! I agree with a pp about putting the blue glass beads on wire and have them sticking up out of it in differeent spots rather than gluing them on. Love your prototype, though! I like simplicity, so I might just forego the blue glass altogether (depending on how it looks).
