I was wonderig if there was any sort of protocol as to who sits where? Does it matter who you put at what table? I was playing around with my seating arrangment and i ahve no idea who to put where. Like should i keep our families to them selves(my grandparents with my aunts/ his aunts with his cousins etc) or should i mix them up (my grandparents, his grandparents/ my aunts and his aunts) Or does it even matter? Any advice/opinons on this would be GREATLY appreciated

I think wherever possible, it’s best to keep your family and friends in the same location.
Also to think about:
Keep immediate family in a place of honor, closer to the head table.
Keep people who hate to dance or hate loud music, away from the dance floor.
Try to seat people who might have to leave early, go to the bathroom, (older, sick, pregnant) or whatever, in places where they can break free easily.
And if there are people who are feuding, try to keep their ables apart too.
