@Nessa2012:  do you mean one to organize your seating or a formal one to have at the wedding for guests?

So you plan to use something like a board that lists the seats instead of escort cards?

If so, I’d probably get a chalk board and write out the names in alphabetical order in colored chalk with the table numbers. Something like this:

ETA: 

To save money, find a cheap painting or mirror at a garage sale, flea market, or good-will type store and paint it with chalkboard paint.

If you have a little money to spend (cuz really, most were very reasonable), there are people all over Etsy who will send you a template they’ve designed or complete one for you and you take the file to a local print shop. That’s the most help I can offer. Good luck!

I ended up buying a frame from Target and printed out my seating chart on vellum. Our wedding was fairly small so it was easy to get this organized. I arranged them in alphaetically and added some scrapbook paper for the background to give it some color. And since our wedding was so small, I made a little “Allison & Albert May 12, 2012” in the middle and a picture of us….ya know just incase they didn’t know who we were 😛
