I need some advice. I was easily able to assign my guests to their seats for the reception, but I have hit a roadblock. When asking my guest to RSVP, I had them denote a dinner choice of chicken or beef. I did not, however, get specifics as to which guest wanted which dinner.
What are some ideas as to how I can place people in a specific seat and still clearly (and easily) communicate to the waitstaff which dinner the guest has chosen?

on their escort cards you can put a color, symbol, or letter for each thing (red for chicken, c for chicken, or a picture of a chicken) on the back of the card. your guests will put the escort cards in front of them when they sit down and the wait staff will be able to see what they ordered.

Welcome to Weddingbee!!! Hopefully you’ll find lots of great inspiration, and share some of your own, here 🙂
I’d say ArtBee hit the nail on the head. Marking it on the back of the escort card pretty clearly says it. If you’re not sure who ordered what, guess or call them; they’ll be sitting together and can swap meals if he accidently gets her meal. No problem!
