I would paint it and then do ribbons somehow? Or paint chalkboard paint in the center?
You could do the seating chart, the menu, program for the ceremony or even a photo arrangements on hanging ribbons.

Chalk board would be great!!! Yes, im thinking seating chart on one side, and once everyone is in…. menu on the other side….
Any tips for what it would look like with ribbons?? :0

That is awesome! Some paint and maybe fabric or ribbons would really make it pop!

@MeganTacky2247: I don’t think seating on one side and menu on the other will work as well as you might think – I just wouldn’t spend the time writing out the menu, that’s all. 🙂 People will immediately make their way to their seat and not read the other side.

@KristenGettingMarried I meant as in… after everyone is seated the chef (who is a friend) who is setting the food up could go get the board and move it next to where the food will be.
Or does that sound …. not good?? lol

Not going to lie I’m totally jealous of your board, it’s perfect. I would simply paint the frame either a nice cream/white and the inside paint with the chalk board paint. I don’t think bows or ribbon are necessary.
We just bought a frame from Michaels and are printing out (from Kinko’s) our seating chart and menu and just having our coordinator switch it out while the wedding party is introduced and it will be set up in front of the buffet. Once the meal is over and the photo booth has been set up the frame will then be emptied out and then used as a prop. Finding multiple uses I think is a must!
