Hello All! OKOK I need some help… We’re going for the Tacos & Mojitos thing at the family ranch, but what’s a girl to do about the table situation? I’m thinking I’ll either do long banquet tables & chairs and have them set up so that they can double for ceremony seating… OR I can do covered hay bails for ceremony and have round or banquet tables for reception… OR should I do a mix of cocktail tables, regular tables, hay bales? I’m so confused!!!!!!! It’s so casual I’m not sure! Thanks!!!!

I’d say have long tables for the dinner, maybe serve the food family style? (i.e. big platters running down the middle of the table) That way people can assemble their tacos without having to queue up at a buffet for each taco. Mojitos sound awesome!!!

Yum! Am I invited? lol.
I would do the hay at the ceremony only. A ceremony typically won’t last long. But at a reception, eating, it’s going to take a little longer to eat. Plus people want to be comfortable when they’re eating. Hay isn’t as comfortable to sit on as an actual chair. I’d do chairs for the reception.

We’re going to have a taquero, so the guests wont be making their own tacos… As for the hay, they bales will be padded and covered… I just went back out to the property yesterday and chairs may be tricky… Oh we shall see!
