We bought Darling Husband a suit at Nordstrom, and the groomsmen were told to buy grey slacks and a gray vest.  I think most of the guys went to JCrew and Express – I sent them links to those stores what I had in mind.

Are you wanting to rent or buy?

Either Men’s Warehouse or the Tux Shop. I haven’t looked into the price differences or the style choices. It is on the list for next month. I put a small $10 refundable deposit down for each of them at the Wedding Show so I know I will be getting a deal either way.

We rented our tuxes from the Tuxedo Club in Kirkland. Although it was a bit more of a  pain to get  everyone out there since the wedidng was in Seattle, they gave us a discount because my fiance had been a groomsman recently in another wedding that rented there. They also threw in some free tie rentals for my nephews when my mom asked if she could rent some extra ties. It’s no more expensive than any other tux rental place. You can also arrange to have them pick up the tuxes at downtown Seattle hotels.

My husband went to Brocklind’s http://www.brocklind‘s, which provides in-house tailoring.  The guys really liked the tailoring option, especially coming from out-of-state, and I must say, they all looked good.  My husband was in other weddings where they rented tuxes from men’s warehouse and after hours (national stores), paid over $160, and had suits that were either too big length- and width-wise and had no options to fix them since they were from out-of-town…One guy who was 6’2″ got a tux and the pants were too long for him!

Anyway, the service, especiallly Keith (I think that his name), was really nice. One thing I would say is that they have a smaller selection of tuxes than others, but they are nice and the total was less than $70 – $90 after taxes (cant’ remember) with jacket, vest, tie, and pants ($10 extra for shoes but we just let the guys decide if they want to rent shoes or use their own).  I highly recommend them!

I heard Men’s Wearhouse was great.  We used them and were happy.
