Hey amillardweiss –

I think you’ll be hard pushed to find a ceremony and reception place for that price at that time of year. If you were to head “out of season”, or possibly weekday at the beginning/end of the peak months, then you may get somewhere for close to your budget. How many people are you hoping to invite? Again – a venue that offers lots of included extras will help to keep it cheap – i.e. a venue that already has chairs/tables so you don’t have to rent those on top of venue space. You say you’re hoping for a $500 venue – may I ask your current total budget estimate?

All the best

I would look into some parks like Golden Gardens or Discovery Park or Parson’s Garden 🙂

Hi there! I know that this is a bit more than you want to pay, but I know Emerald City Trapeze starts at just $2500 for 10 hours – it’s located in Seattle, and it’s one of the coolest buildings I have ever seen. They just finished renovating a whole new section, and they are going to be featured on TLC’s Four Weddings in August! You might want to ask if they have a lower fee for a shorter wedding!

This is a way old thread but someone posted 2 weeks ago so I’ll add now…If it’s a small reception I heard the Meeker Mansion in Puyallup is $275 for 5 hours…kind of a victorian theme. Barn wise, I think in Auburn/Black Diamond/Kent I saw one called Mary Olsen Farm that might be less expensive
