Swink did my hair for my rehearsal dinner on 10.30.2010, they also did my moms hair & we loved what they did.  I didn’t learn about them until late in my wedding planning game and as a result I already had someone selected for my bridal party on my wedding day. I wish I had known about then earlier bc I would have def scheduled them for my wedding day!  I am sorry I don’t know anything about a bridal room Undecided

Have you been there? IF you have time and $ why don’t you go for a visit?  The girls are super sweet and its a great little atmosphere Laughing

I go to Swink for every fancy hair occasion, including my wedding. We didn’t rent the whole place out, but myself and my three bridesmaids had our hair and makeup done here. Easy to work with and we were very pleased with the results. I don’t have my pro-pics back yet otherwise I’d post a pic! They’re so easy to work with and the salon is super cute for photos too.

Salon Maison came to us and did a great job.  I didn’t want to worry about driving anywhere on my wedding day and worry about parking or the weather.  They did a great job.  I did hear about swink but I heard they were like the McDonalds of beauty.  I am not sure if that is accurate or not…just what I heard.

I was actually of thinking of hiring the makeup for my wedding.  He did my friend’s so I should check that out.

@Jenette1: As for the “McDonalds” of beauty, I’m not really sure what that is supposed to mean…they use high end products and styling tools, have a clean and comfortable space (they served my party some very tasty champagne), and are super friendly.

Location downtown is great…we stayed at the Pan Pacific and were walking distance, although my brother-in-law dropped us off/picked us up. Hotel Max which is a really cool place is directly across the street.

I’m in the processing of booking Swink now!  I wanted to book the whole salon but couldn’t justify the $…but I think it’ll be fine, there’ll be 8 of us so we’ll probably have the whole place anyways 🙂

@smactley:

Let me know how it goes, I would love to do something like that to for my BMs.
