OMG!! I love diamond in the rough! I’m so jealous. I wanted one for my engagement ring, but there wasn’t anything in yellow gold that worked for us. And for me yellow was a must. Maybe a right hand ring one day…..

I’m sure she’ll love it!

I think it’s beautiful.  I’m usually not into halos but I think this ione is very unique and pretty.

That ring is awesome, and if you know her well enough to think that this is something she would love, you’re probably right!

I agree that only you know what your SO likes, but I think that ring is gorgeous.

Personally, I like rough-hewn stones, including diamonds, in other jewelry, but I wouldn’t prefer it in my engagement ring because, in my mind, the wedding set is supposed to be “fine”/”precious”/”classic,” to represent the gravity and meaningfulness of the oath. I also love the appearance and lightplay of a very fine diamond (even if small, it looks like nothing else on earth). But, this ring is beautiful, and I would love to wear such a ring on my right hand.

It’s an interesting look and if she is into unique jewellery, she will love it. If she isn’t, she might not appreciate it’s beauty as much as she would a more traditional look.

I do agree with joya_aspera and would be thrilled to wear it as a rhr.

I think it’s beautiful! A friend of mine has a triangle-shaped diamond and she gets compliments on it all the time!

Love it! If you’re worried, ask her friends. My friends were a great help to Darling Husband when he was shopping.

@tanzacat:  Is it returnable?  Yes, it’s absolutely beautiful.  But IMO you should either ask her exactly what her style is or get her something more traditional.  Good luck!

@tanzacat:   Omg I died, LOVE IT.   I see you posted this 7 months ago, did you end up proposing with this ring? Did she love it?? We need an update!
