@Mrs_U:  Hello fellow bay area bee! I LOVE the dress you bought. The shape and design is beyond classy and elegant and I love that neckline on you. Personally I am not a fan of the second dress and that neckline doesn’t do much for your shape.

@Mrs_U:   I absolutely love the dress you bought.  It is classic and elegant, I love the drop waist and the bodice detail.  Also I can the the back of the dress in the mirror and I love it from the back, too – very flattering.    Personally, when I look at you in the Monique Lhullier, I see the dress more than you.

If you’re not sure, post the gown for sale on one of the sites like preownedweddingdresses.com. Be sure to list it for a bit more than what you need for it cause people like to bargain and don’t forget to figure about $50 for shipping (either included in the cost or to be paid by the purchaser). If it sells, you get your $ back and get to buy a gown you’re more excited about. If it doesn’t, keep it and add a belt! It’s very pretty, but I think it needs a belt to break up the bodice.

I do prefer the dress you bought, but I’m not crazy about the line at the dropped waist.  I don’t think that dress would look good with a belt.  Instead I would probably put a very intricate and blingy veil with it (and have another blingy headpiece for the reception is you want) and a statement necklace.
