I think that dress looks great on you! What is making you second guess it? Is there something that you don’t like about it?

It’s gorgeous on you and the skirt will blow in the Hawaiian breeze. That top…. It’s to die for.

I think it’s a great dress, but I also do understand you worrying about the heat on your wedding day. If you try on a sheath dress, as you had previously imagined, I think it will give you either peace of mind that you picked the right dress for you originally or the realization that maybe you didn’t. There’s nothing wrong with seeing what else is out there.

ETA: Looks like I’m in the minority, though, lol.

honeylemonade: it looks great on you, and perfect for a beach wedding! I think it’s easy to freak out about the dress (there are so many choices! if only we could wear them all!) but you seriously lucked out, that dress looks incredible on you and does actually fit your venue :).

It’s a gorgeous dress but a sheath would be more fitted to a beach wedding.

I’ve been to Hawaii twice and it’s definitely hot.

If you are worried about too much poof on the bottom, have you considered removing a layer or so of the tulle? That would reduce the poofiness, ballgown feeling a little bit and make it feel a little more sheath. Removing some of the poof might be just what you need to absolutely fall head over heels for it! It is GORGEOUS on you.

ETA – If I am being completely honest, I also wonder if it is too “ballgowny” for a beachy, hawaiian vibe. But if you reduce the poof, it may be perfect.

Ummm… WOW! I love that dress. I think the skirt is flowy enough for Hawaii and the top is freaking gorgeous!

I agree with one of the girls who said to try on a different type and it will ease your mind. My whole life I pictured myself in the biggest ball gown and I ended up picking a trumpet gown. Hated the ball gowns on myself. Sometimes what you envision isnt what you end up loving!

I do also wonder if it’s too big for a beach wedding.

honeylemonade: I say stop questioning yourself because you will make yourself go crazy! the dress is beautiful and it looks beautiful on you! but I’m a firm believer there is no “one perfect dress” so whats the point to continue looking, unless you for some reason really hate your dress. BUt it doesn’t sound like that’s the case. save yourself the grief, love your dress and dont second guess.
