hard2handle :  I second that! I would go without the poof too.

It looks stunning, it’s such a romantic and elegant dress. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am so sorry you are second guessing your dress.  I am in the exact same position right now and it is awful.  I feel like you may be able to make it more poofy but it will probably look like a mermaid and I’m not sure how that would affect the train.  However I think it is a beautiful dress but I totally get that its just not exactly what you want.

Love the dress but I don’t really like the belt. It’s an eye catcher but you have a great shape and really don’t need something so bold. IMO

I don’t think that the design of your dress really lends itself to your making either of the changes that you want to make. However, it is a beautiful dress in its own right.

I don’t think that style/ design would look right adding more poof. It’s a beautiful dress as is and you look great!

I know it wasn’t your original vision, but I actually love this dress on you. It gives you a very elegant and posh sillouette. It hits you in all the right places, and the existing details are the right mix of eye catching and classy. I think with the right necklace you’d feel much better about the dress ๐Ÿ™‚

It is beautiful on you. Sound like you are describing a mermaid dress which I don’t think you can do with the dress you have. And if you lower the back anymore remember that you wont have much to support the front of your dress from staying on your boobs. Another bee had her dress cut too low in the back and had that issue with the front. My suggestion is just leave your dress as is. It’s very pretty!

I love the train! Very old fashioned. Maybe you can see if they can add some crinoline to the bottom of the dress to make it more poofy?

About adding “Poof” to the bottom of the dress you could buy a trumpet syle petticoat. I bought one from Amazon by MerryModes and it saved me from spending over $200 to have the gown shortened. Just a thought.

You could try buying a cheap petticoat and seeing how it looks. If it doesn’t look right though, keep it how it is. It is a beautiful dress.

I think it’s lovely as is, but make it how you want it ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it looks great the way it is and will be classic when you look back on it in photos years down the road. I knew when I bought my dress, I’d see others and second guess it, but I just remind myself why I liked the dress I bought and keep looking at the photos on other brides that made me want to get it.
