Ok, I’m getting married at the end of November. I chose pale pink and white as my colors and I’ll be wearing a beautiful tea-length dress and my bridesmaids will all be wearing a light shade of pink in different styles, all tea-length as well.
The groomsmen are wearing gray vests and pants and they’ll be rolling their sleeves up to their elbows… we’re really going for laid-back, romantic, and sweet… BUT…
Since it’s in late November, I feel like all of a sudden none of this will make sense since it may be chilly outside (I’m from South Carolina so it’s very possible that it could end up feeling like a warm spring day).
I really don’t want to change anything but I don’t want to appear silly or inconsiderate of my bridal party by not having them wear warmer attire.. I thought about getting the ladies wraps or something.
Do y’all think all of this is ok for a November wedding?

Your theme is totally fine. It’s normal to second guess these things, but just remember there is a reason you made your original choices (likley because you really like them!).
I was in a March wedding and all of us BMs had short, sleevless dresses. This is in the midwest, and it was 30 degrees out that day. We were a little chilly for photos outdoors but otherwise it was fine because we were inside all day/night.

Not every wedding in November has to be fall colors or saturated winter tones…if you want your colors to be pink, light gray, and white then go for it! It’s your day, and as long as you and your FI are happy it’ll be great. It is good to take the weather into consideration though, and coming up with a backup plan for the attire if it’s a bit colder is definitely a good idea. I think wraps or light sweaters would be fine.

i went to a wedding in november and the bride wanted the ceremony outside.
i was just a guest and wore my coat, luckily. she had a few blanets for the guests (not enough). she gave pashminas for the bridesmaids in the wedding accent color.

Sounds beautiful, pink and white are lovely wedding colours. Don’t worry your wedding will be perfect.

Youe wedding will be lovely.
Brides worrying about the comfort of bridesmaids, in regards to purchasing a wrap , sweater, bolero etc for them, is a fairly new phenomen, spawned I presume by the desire for cute pictures.
It wasn’t that long ago that the bridal party simply wore their own coats, jackets or sweaters over their dress and removed them for pics.

@julies1949: My pictures will be cute regardless as I have some of the most adorable ladies in the world as my bridesmaids :D. Haha but I agree, they could use their own sweaters or jackets, that wouldn’t bother me. Just trying to think of things to give them less to worry about.
@Soon2BD-CBee: Thank you!
@ajillity81: Pashminas are a good idea!
@Kit_Kath: I love all of the decisions we’ve made! I don’t know if I’d change them anyway haha!
@Audrey2_sings: We are happy with our decisions and it fits our personalities perfectly.

@dreamer1288: we’re doing the same for our groomsman and when we went to get rentals they all had to come with the jacket, so we said ok if they have the jacket they can wear it at night. I want the look you are going for also, perhaps find out more about your guys attire, maybe you have a jacket rental as well. As for the ladies, they can always have a shawl or cartigan, sweater, w/e they need before and after. I would suggest having a desginated person to provide the bridal party with hot bevrages just incase they are chilly. and if your a drinking group give them flasks with some bourban or cinnamon flavour liquor to keep them warm 🙂

Is youre wedding outside? If it’s inside, than I think not only is your overall feel and color choices appropriate, I’m downright jealous as that is my dream wedding too! It’s going to be amazing.
If outside, then that may be awfully cold for them.

@avonleaR: Hot drinks are a great idea! Our groomsmen are buying their vest and pants (we found out it was MUCH cheaper than renting… so crazy!) so they probably won’t have matching jackets. During the reception though, they can put on whatever jacket they want.
@chanara: Our wedding is inside :). And thank you! I’m very excited! I decided to go with the vision I’ve had in my head since I was a little girl!

Sounds lovely! Wouldn’t change a thing! You can always get them some cute cardigans or something if it’s a bit chilly!

@dreamer1288: I’m from SC too and have had many thanksgiving’s on my deck…where we are all in t-shirts and shorts so barring some freak storm, I think the weather will be fine!!! Especially since you are going to be inside, so even if the weather isn’t the best, you can still get some cute wraps/shawls and take some really cute pics! Good luck! It sounds really lovely!

@Hot_Sauce: You’re right about Thanksgiving in t-shirts! I even remember wearing flip flops on many Christmases… Let’s hope it’s one of those years!! 🙂

@dreamer1288: Have coats or cardigans at the ready. The men can get three piece suits and put on their jackets if it’s cold, and then they have the full suit to wear in the future. You could end up with a cute mismatched look caused only by weather. Beprepared for a cold wind, but you should be fine.
