I am sorry to hear you are ill. I personally think it looks amazing and you look amazing in it but it is ultimately your choice and if you don’t feel amazing you should maybe try again if you can. Good luck =)

I think it looks great on you! But more importantly, how does it make you feel? When I tried my dress on (at the third store) I love the way it made me feel (specific words “I love this! This is fun!!”). That was the first time I said something like that. I had tried on another dress in a similar style that probably would have looked the same (shape), but it just wasn’t giving me the feeling (of fun) that I wanted.

Love it! Is there something you specifically you don’t like about it? or are you just second guessing the whole dress? I was second guessing my dress after seeing how amazing everyone looks in theirs on here but once I took it home and put it on again I fell in love with it all over again!

@Riley2011: Those were my words as well!! There weren’t any mirrors in the dressing room and when I walked out my future mother-in-law said I had a “look” before realizing I didn’t see it until after they did! I swayed back and forth and said “I like this.. this is fun!” lol

Have you considered wearing two dresses? One for your ceremony and one for the reception? or if your able to go look for another dress go for it!

I really couldn’t see anyone saying or even thinking that about you in that dress

First off. I am sorry to hear you are sick. I may have to deal with that too as I have a chronic illness and planning a wedding 18 months in advance is certainly not an ideal situation. But stay strong and keep your head up. You are beautiful and look beautiful in that dress. I wouldn’t worry too much about what others think. What matters is what you think. Also, have you tried on any lace dresses? If that’s what you’re set on maybe set up an appointment at your local bridal shop and try on only lace ones. You could make a fun day out of it.
