I actually ended up with #3.  I fell in love with one, went shopping again, fell in love with and bought another, had second thoughts, tried to go back to the first one, no luck it was discontinued, then found a completely different dress, which is the one I ended up with.  I felt ridiculous, but I love my dress.

I second guess my dress every day. I bought the sample, and haven’t had it altered yet, so I just hope I will love it when it isn’t fully a foot too long for me. Maybe… But if you’re super unsure, go try on a few more and see what you like!

I second guessed and in the end it all worked out..

I bought a dress and then i ended up losing 20 pounds and the dress didn’t fit.. it also didn’t really go with my new lighter personality that began appearing during the weightloss. So I decided to try and sell the dress. For months i got no calls or anyone interested in the dress… then finally a lady called and wanted to come look at the dress. HSe tried it on and it looked like it was made for her. SHe left and went to lunch telling me she’d give me a call and let me know another day. After about two hours she called and asked if she could come back, pay me, and take the dress. I of course was over joyed… not only did i sell the dress, i sold it to someone who loved it. We also kept in touch and are now facebook friends…

I went on to fine my dream dress and couldn’t have been happier. It all worked out in the end!!! DOnt you dare let anyone tell you you’re being sily for second guessing yourself!!!

This is her in my original dress

And this is me in my dress (dress #2)

@live laugh love:  Honest truth about my above post that i didn’t say was i knew before the dress even came in (it took 8 months to arrive) it wasnt the one. I tried to hault production but they wouldn’t stop because to much time had passed and I was told that they were almost ready for shipment (even though it was 3 months later before i saw the dress)

Sometimes I do. I love the dress I ended up with and I think it’s beautiful but once in a while, I think it’s kinda boring and somewhat ‘typical’. This is probably because I see so many beautiful brides on forums like the wedding bee!:D

I also doubt because I ended up with a mermaid but I actually wanted an elegant beautiful lace a-line (maybe a sheath also ok). That said, the mermaid shape seems to work for me and although my SO hates mermaid (as did I), he will probably not be too unhappy when he seems:)
