zstbee84 :  How are you feeling today OP? Did you manage to talk to someone at your RE’s office about collecting and transporting specimen samples? I know this is probably not helpful anymore, but when I was waiting for my D&C, they gave me something that goes on the toilet seat to collect tissue etc. in case I started to miscarry naturally before surgery. Also just an FYI, if they test it and do find a genetic issue, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s because your eggs are “older”, cells are replicating like crazy in the early stages and at any point something can go wrong. This can happen to anyone at any life stage who is trying for a babe. Has your doctor tested your AMH levels to gauge what your ovarian reserve is like?

It’s good that you found out the cause, and that it actually is your body doing what it’s meant to do. Best of luck for the next time!

zstbee84 :  I’m so sorry, but I’m glad the tissue analyses was helpful for peace of mind.

At some point, you may want to consider PGS testing, or at the very least, meeting with a genetic counselor.
