I bought my dress in January and I LOVED it .. but now I think I have having second thoughts and I suspect it is because
1) I havent seen it since I bought it
2) I need to lose a little weight and tone up a bit (i am doing great so far!)
3) I ordered it in white and tried it on in ivory
I dont really know what to do, should I go back and try it on again to make sure its THE dress? I have no option of replacing it.. and even if I did ant to replace it, I dont think I would find a dress I like better because it really did feel like the one when I bought it.. I was obsessed!
Has time/ overthinking done this to anyone else? How do you deal with it?

Go try it on again to make yourself feel better 🙂

YES, this happened to me. I bought my dress in September and it came in in January. That is a long time to wait! I would go in and try it on again, just to put your mind at ease!

I just looked at your dress from another post. I think it’s beautiful and you shoul dstop worrying. Don’t look at any other dresses. YOu fell in love with it and you had a moment… you knew that was the dress.
When it arrives and you try it on again, you will feel just as sure!
Keep yourself busy with other activities and/or tasks… even wedding tasks…. stop thinking about the dress 🙂

THat sort of has happened to me too! Honestly, I am just trying not to think about it- I will drive myself crazy if I do. When I start doubting the dress I just try to remember how I felt when I put it on the first time (I was totally in love) and I hope that I’ll love it even more when it comes in!!
i have totally stopped looking at my dress online or at the pictures of me in the dress when I tried it on (I recommend doing the same….I am just too critical of myself in the dress and find things I don’t like).
You can certainly go in to try the dress on again if you think it will calm your nerves! I personally wouldn’t do that, only bc I know I can’t buy another dress so if I go and try it on and don’t like it I am totally screwed. I also really don’t want to see anything in the store that I like more. I plan on just waiting til my dress comes in and hopefully all of the great feelings I had when I wore it in the store will come back.
Let me know what you end up doing!
