Why would you buy two very similar dresses? These just look way too much alike to justify buying both, In My Humble Opinion…

I have to agree with katyelle. Both of `the dresses look very similar. Why waste the money

I’m just saying, if I was a guest I probably wouldn’t notice you had a different dress on, at a quick glance they look extremely similar. If you have to have them both, go for it! It’s your wedding you can do what you want. Usually if a bride is doing the 2 dress thing, they are radically different styles or the reception dress is shorter.

I agree completely with KatyElle – they do look very similar. I think because you are the bride wearing the dresses you notice everything about the dresses, but your guests most likely won’t. Also, the dress you bought looks beautiful on you, and frankly I think it’s prettier than the other one you are considering Smile

I think your dress is gorgeous, and that your guests would be disappointed if you changed for the reception. I feel part of the reception is getting to admire the bride’s dress up close.

I like the bottom on the dress you bought more.  If you’re going to choose a reception dress, make it fully and completely different from your ceremony dress- short, a different shape, something, everything.  I think these are too similar to justify the costs of both (don’t forget alterations!!) unless you can find one for like under a hundred bucks, and even then.

I actually thought you were showing the picture of the dress on the model and then the dress on you… I agree is PPs, these dresses are way too similar to change them… That said after looking closely I prefer the one you bought already.

Yes, I thought it was the same dress at first! Stop looking at dresses and keep the one you have, it looks amazing on you!

I see the differences, just saying.

they are similar this is true, but the bottom of the one you purchased is completely different then the one in the model photo. the top dress is all lace, the bottom dress is more tulle and much less lace. I think they are both pretty dresses, and if you did purchase two I would hope the all lace would be the ceremony dress and the more tulle dress for the reception. BUT with that being said I don’t think I’d wear two, the one you bought is lovely, and I think changing out of it would be sad!
