I really like the second one!  Are you going to feel weird about any dress if it doesn’t fit though?  I had to order mine larger to fit my hips and have a lot of the bust and sides taken in.

Sorry you feel that way. While I’m no stranger to dress regret and alterations issues, I have to say the dress you bought looks phenomanal and took my breath away! It looks at least ten times more expensive than it is. I’ve looked at a million lace dresses out there (and wore a rather expensive one myself) and that is one of the prettier ones I’ve seen.

Did you actually see the AA dress in person? Based on my experience, I have a feeling it may be a letdown from the photo. “Bling” doesn’t always look that great on wedding dresses in person when not done right. Not that that’s not a pretty dress also, but I think yours looks a lot better quality, which again is amazing given the price. The AA dress may fit you better since it will be in your size, but why don’t you talk to a seamstress first and give alterations on your dress a chance first? It will probably be less expensive when all is said and done, and it has potential to look more stunning than the AA dress. If they say it can’t be let out, then start looking at other dresses.

I’m addicted to the second one!! I love it but the first one is gorgeous too. It’s easy to be tempted by the second one I think since it is such a perfect dress but yours actually looks really similar I think, but the Ariel just has more details…

I’ve thought about the Ariel as a reception dress but I couldn’t spend that much on a second dress.

I really like the first one, I think it’s gorgeously classic and the fact that you got it at a GREAT price makes it even better.  To be honest, most real women have some curves so you shouldn’t feel worried about having to take it out – that just means you must have a gorgeously curvaceous body, one I’m sure your fiance loves!

I will assume that the first dress is your dress and it is amazing.  I love that dress so much more that the second.  I think that you should at least talk to your alterations friend and see what can be done.  I am shocked that it was only $150.  I would love to see you in it.

I love the dress you bought!  How pretty!  That being said, if you’re in love with the 2nd dress and have a flexible budget, you really did only spend 150…But I imagine you would look stunning in dress #1!

your $150 looks way more amazing than the other.  Honestly.  I really really love it!

I love the first dress too. Of course it’s up to you how “you” it feels, but I think it’s beautiful. If you want some bling, a beaded sash could pull it together. Definitely talk to the seamstress to see what the alterations would be involved, but I wouldn’t rule your current dress out before exploring the options with it.

I like them both, because they both have a very similar feel to me. I think you should give the original a chance. It’s beautiful.
