I have always loved your dress! I’ve seen your pic on the boards before and I think it suits you perfectly! I really don’t like the Tutera dress at all, too ruffly. Is the pic you have of the sample or of your dress? Because once it’s fitted you will love it even more.

That said, I really hate veils. If you’re unhappy with yours maybe look into switching it? I think a longer one would look very elegant with your dress, though I’m always partial to no veil at all. I’m tiny though (4’11”) and it makes me feel like a child bride. Maybe you could get a fantastic crystal hairpiece instead? Do you know what you’re doing with your hair yet?

I love the dress you already have!

You can be picky about your headpiece/veil hun! There are SO many options!

Do you want a long veil or short veil or fascinator?

@mrskisstobe: I think no veil would fit that image perfectly- I think it makes the bride look more confident in her looks, its classy and elegant. A flower would look great with your dress too!

I really loved the first dress, Miri. It has all the wow factor!!Can’t you just maybe sell your dress and get the sample one with a discount?

@mrskisstobe: when he sees you coming down the aisle, he’s not going to remember any other dress anyways. all he’s going to see is the woman he loves walking towards him in a big white thing. you look phenomenal in the dress you already have, i wouldn’t change it.

I think you need to step back and think realistically/logically about the situation. I know that’s hard to do because we all think these are “life and death” decisions (trust me, I do it too) but an extra $1150 is A LOT of wasted money to spend on a dress you will wear once. We all want to look our absolute best but you look GORGEOUS in the dress you have already! Sure, the model looks fantastic in the Miri but what model who is a size 0 doesn’t look good in a dress? They make them pose a certain way so it looks just perfect and your FI likes that dress because the model makes it look so great. He has no idea how gorgeous you look in your dress. Also, I’m not sure if I’d trust his opinion – not to sound mean but my Fiance has no idea what looks good or what’s in style. Maybe your Fiance is different about fashion. All in all, keep your dress! You look great! (oh and stop looking for other dresses!)
