So it has been a long time since I posted on here, but I was a regular here almost 3 years ago when I was dealing with infertility and then undergoing IVF. We were incredibly lucky, because our first IVF was successful and we had our little boy in December 2015. We have been wanting a sibling, but once again, months and year(s) of trying have been unsuccessful. Before our first IVF, our diagnosis was DOR for me and male factor infertility for my husband. We did IVF with ICSI and assisted hatching. Transferred two day 3 fresh embies and one implanted and was viable, another one implanted, but was not viable. The 2 embies were not of great quality. We froze 2, but their quality was really poor.
Any ladies had success with FET with not ideal quality embryos? Also, any advice with the FET would be helpful.
Also, I just had a blow earlier this week that I’m trying to process. I went to a regular OB/GYN to start on the blood work prior to my appointment with the RE for our FET consult and got some devastating results. My FSH came back at 20.12. When we last tested it in 2014 it was 8.1. I am devastated that if the FET doesn’t work, we may not even be able to do another cycle of IVF. Does anyone have experience with IVF with high levels of FSH? I know a lot of clinics have cutoff values of well below 15, so I am nervous that we may not be able to even try. Any personal stories on this would be helpful as I wait for my RE appointment next week.
