There are several super cute historic courthouses on the MD Eastern Shore. Easton and Chestertown come to mind. Or maybe the William Paca Gardens in Annapolis.

@SecondTimeAug4:  you could always do it on a public riverboat cruise on the potomac maybe something like this???

http://potomacriverboatco.com/monuments-cruise.php

do it during one of their regular sceduled cruises???

There are a lot of nice winery’s you can go do little intimate tasting at and get it done there.

You can always go on the Appalacian Trail and have a woods wedding?

Crap I just realized you got the VA liscence.. so I’m not sure if the river cruise would be legal being as it’s the border of VA. I have so many ideas. lol.

PS yes you have to have it in VA. There are some nice places on teh eastern shore though.

@SecondTimeAug4:  Good point. I hadn’t thought of that. oops

Maybe a vineyard? The Shenandoah Valley has oodles. Since you have no restrictions, I’d try to think about places that are special to the two of you. A favorite park? In front of the fireplace in your living room? Museum where you shared your first kiss? etc. But we’re just sentimental like that. LOL

@lovekiss:  I just saw you could do it at a park.. and my thoughts immediately jumped to “Kings Dominion?? I guess a theme park could be neat. oh oops she meant like an actual park.”

@Woodstock:  Does Kings dominion still have that spinny thing that goes high in the air? That would be amazeballs! Why not get married in a theme park if that’s your thing?! I’m all for the crazy fun stuff.

OP- You could do something on a 100% virginia river or lake, if that idea appealed to you. Just not the potomac or the bay, as the potomac is technically MD and the bay is shared territory.

What about Luray Caverns by the underground pipe organ?

@lovekiss:  omg Lurray Caverns would be so cool! I’m not sure.. I haven’t been to KD in ages 🙁

I know theres a trail “white oak canyon” that has 7 different waterfalls. I know for a fact that there are a couple really cool spots that you could do.. BUT you’d have to hike a little bit.

Have you thought about the steps of Capitol, the Jefferson Memorial, or the Old Post Office?

@SecondTimeAug4:  physical locatin has to be in VA from what I understand. But if you’re into that you can always go to Monticello, Montpelier, Mount Vernon… all in va

also along the lines of naturey.. the natural bridge could be cool

@SecondTimeAug4:  Okay, in VA I would call up Arlington Rooftop bar and see if you could do it there before it opened. You might also want to look into the Artosphere or the waterfront in Old Town.
