averity:  We did an online one, just because in FL you get a discount on the marriage license fee if you do premarital counseling and the discount was more than the cost of the online course (like $20). Honestly, the online couse that I took was kind of a joke, the same stuff could have been achieved by reading the 4 Love Languages or an online article. I’m sure there might be better online ones out there though.

We did a DIY version of Questions to Ask Before Getting Married – just to make sure we hadn’t overlooked an important issue unwittingly and to confirm that we were on the same page. We used this list: http://www.connact.com/~hom/blog/276questions.htm and did it one section at time. We ejnoyed it, even though some of the questions didn’t apply.

We did online with a counselor. I found her on FB in a local wedding group. I posted in a few of the groups asking for an inexpensive counselor and she was the least expensive. There weren’t many replies to my question, but I’d done some research on my own to know that she gave us a great price.

We’re doing regular old couple’s counseling with a MFT. . .”working on our skill set”. I like it, TBH
