(Closed) Seed Packet favors!

I don’t want to burst your bubble on this idea, but it isn’t the most practical gift to give. When you consider how many people you are inviting that may live in apartments, without yards to plant them in, then figure people who do have yards but have definate ideas about what flowers that they want in those yards, you may not find this to be the most well received of favor gifts. I have read several times where people have given seed packets as favors, only to find them left on the tables when people leave. I think your $3.95 a person budget can be better spent, IMO.

The best favor I ever received at a wedding was a couple of pieces of phenomenal fudge, that the bride actually made herself, and wrapped up very pretty with a note that said “Have a sweet time, on us!”

@kingytobe: I would buy the seeds in bulk locally, and then make the packets. It will be much cheaper.
