I am recently engaged and want to have an outdoor wedding in the fall. Looking at somewhere in Southeast TN or Northeast AL with lots of mountains or scienic views of fall foilage. My fiance and I were thinking about the Nashville-Huntsville-Chattanooga area to make travel for guests convenient. Of course, we are on a budget! Suggestions, please!

In the Chattanooga area, I have heard that Greenway farms is a good deal. Also, Camp Dixie or the Heritage house at Heritage Park. You can have the ceremony on the lawn and use the house for your reception, if you like.

The Lodge at Monte Sano in Huntsville is nice and runs about $1700 for the full day for the entire lodge, but they book up pretty fast. The Desoto State Lodge is also in the same price range, located in the Fort Payne area, they have cabins and a motel for your guests to rent if they would like.
There are a couple of farms in North East Alabama, I just can’t remember them off the top of my head.

Samary Plantation in Eagleville TN(just outside of Nashville) is a beautiful plantation with rolling hills and three guesthouses for family or friends. You basically have the whole plantation(300 acres) to yourself for the whole weekend and they have their own onsite coordinator to help with everything!
