Any suggestions on Greater Toronto Area or Ontario wedding photographer looking for quality but still affordable I’m not looking to degrade the trade but I can’t afford 1200 for 4 hours of work. Let me know if you have any links!! Thanks. Also tell me if you think 1200 isn’t too high ?

I’m just commenting so I can follow this 🙂
From my research, 1200$ is an excellent price! Every photographer I like is about 5k+!! We are doing an “at home” reception for family/friends unable to attend our destination wedding. I don’t want to splurge on video/photos for the dinner in Toronto!

GTA is pretty pricey. You might be able to find a photographer that can accomodate your budget advertising on or by advertising for on kijiji. Sometimes photographers will offer a reduced rate on a date they haven’t booked when it’s 6 months or less out from a date. Also, there are some people breaking into the business that advertise on there. Those options are a bit of a role of the dice, but when you’re on a super tight budget they might be able to help.

Hey! I just hired i-video.ca for my Niagara Falls Wedding! They are based out of Toronto I believe, and are only charging me a $99 travel fee to go to Niagara. I am hiring them for 3 hours and got a GREAT price (Under $1000) for both videography and photos. The price on their website is MUCH higher, but that is for a full 10 hour day. It still comes with 2 videograhers and one photographer! And Alex has been great to talk with so far. We are coming to Ontario as sort of a destination/planned elopement, so I can only see what’s on the internet, but i’ve searched and searched and felt really happy when I found these people! Another photographer that looks great is “Picture your Dreams.” Again, they give you a cheaper quote based on less hours. They seem new, but I really liked the clarity in their shots. They quoted me $672 for 3 hours. I was originally going to go with them until I found out that getting photo and video with the same company makes for a better deal.
Hope that helps! 🙂
