I am not sure about finding a pastor… We wanted a non-religious ceremony so we searched for an officiant. We actually used weddingwire’s vendor reviews to find our officiant (and most of our other vendors too!). Maybe you can try starting there?

I was just looking throuhg wedding wire for reviews, but then his aunt got ordained to do his sister’s ceremony, and we figured she could do ours too.  We both loved the idea that she would marry us, instead of a random stranger. And it was free.  Double bonus.

After I got engaged, I kept hearing rave reviews about “the flying preacher”. At least ten people told me that I needed to meet him because he was fabulous. So, I did a little research on Google and it turns out he is a preacher and race car driver. His sponsors pay for his car and race entry fees and his winnings go to his church. We just had to meet this guy! So after a meeting, we knew he was out guy. Word of mouth does wonders in a small town like this one.
