We took our guests’ tastes/preferences into account when planning the menu. As much as I’d like to fool myself, we probably won’t get to eat much on the wedding day.

Between your two beef options, I’d go with tenderloin. I agree with your mom, even though I’m not one of your wedding guests. I’m picky about meat and get grossed out if it’s “bloody meat” or overly fatty/gristly. As long as your folks have another meat dish, they should be okay.

See, I would go for the prime rib because I HATE mushrooms. So there are those kinds of things to keep in mind.
