Im looking for some self help type books on Positive thinking. I’d like to go Into the new year with more positivity and try not to let things bother me so much. I don’t want anything religious. More guidance on how to change my thoughts/mindset if that makes sense. Thanks!

I am not sure if this is exactly what you are after, but I recently read the book, The Subtle Art of not Giving a F$#@.. the author is Mark Manson. He’s a blogger, not a psychologist or an expert on human behavior.
It talks about how people put too much energy into things that don’t really matter at the end of the day. He calls his book a counterintuitive approach to living a good life.
Be forwarned that it’s full of swear words, funny anecdotes and crazy examples. It’s a fast read, but I found it hilarious and down to earth. You can always read the reviews on Amazon if you are interested. It was previously on the New York times best sellers list.
