Seems like a good compromise 🙂

I am fine with it as I am totally uninvolved in the ‘blogging’ world and consider my comments on threads blogging! Sounds like a fair way to resolve the issue.

I think it’s a pretty awesome idea, specially because sometimes there’s old blogs not even running any more on those threads! its nice to find new blogs 🙂

Great idea! Now if only the vendors would stop sending me unsolicited messages… 😉

Good idea! It’s nice to have all that in one place, as well.

@ChaCha: Please let one of the Hostesses or moderators know if someone is sending you PM spam!!  We DO NOT condone that on WB!!  Their accounts may be blocked if we recieve multiple complaints.

do those of us with links to our blogs in DIY posts in the DIY section need to edit those posts to remove them?

I just want to say that I think this will actually make the “share your blog” stuff much more effective – I know I’m much more likely to read one post a month that aggregates it all.

this sounds like a great idea! It still allows us to embrace the community, but helps weed out the solicitation or self promotion at the same time!

On a side note:

I love following bee’s blogs! You all are so creative and absolutley amazing writers!

I have a question after reading MightySapphire’s comment.  I’ve gotten multiple photographers PMing me about their services is this not allowed?  Because that would be great because I already have a photog and its driving me crazy!

Sounds good to me!  I still want to be able to read blogs of some other peeps in the hive, but anything to keep the spammers at bay works for me!
