Lately I’ve been religiously self tanning, something I claim to do every summer.. For the rest of the year I really embrace my pale-ness.. But I think its nice to have some color for summer
This year I’ve really been in love with jergens natural glow & more recently olay quench touch of sun.. I really like both of them but they do take alittle while to show results, so I’ve been mixing in a tinted self tanner from bath & body works..

I have also been using the Jergens and I have found it to be as good as the more expensive products

I have recently started using Jergens and I like it. Its good for a lighter tan. When I have an event like wedding or something, I will use a darker self tanner, Fake Bake Flawless Self-Tanning Liquid. I bought mine from ulta for $25. I purchased it in February and still have quite a bit left but I don’t use it all the time.

@ecrowe1218: $26??? You can get it on Amazon for way cheaper! I got mine for like $14 including shipping with Amazon prime. Just FYI for next time.
Funny enough, I actually haven’t tried my Fake Bake stuff yet b/c my current fave is Sun Lab Self Ultra Dark Instant Tint. It somewhat moisturizes and smells really good – like a Tootsie Pop.
I also have St. Moriz (poor man’s St. Tropez), and it’s OK – it does the job, but the only thing I don’t like about it is that it really seeps into your pores and makes them look darker. There is also no moisturizer in it.

Jergens Natural Glow here too!

i could never get the right color with self tanners. i think because i’m a really pale asian woman. i found versa spa combined with a few sessions of the tanning bed works really well.

Jergens Natural Glow. Where do you find the Oil of Olay Quench brand? I used to swear by that stuff but I thought they discontinued it!

I swear by neutrogenia micro mist spray tan! Love it!!
It comes in 3 different levels

I always use St Tropez tanning mousse. It gives a great natural looking tan that lasts all week.

Jergens (the gradual one) or Bare Escentuals Faux Tan (they sell a Faux Tan powder as well as a self tanner… one for face and one for body). I like the Faux Tan b/c it has a bit of a green tint when you apply it so it doesn’t look orange-y. I’m really fair (some foundations don’t come light enough) and it’s never looked fake or awful. I get compliments and even my rheumatologist (I legit am not supposed to tan due to health issues) toldme to stop tanning! Jergens is cheaper, but I slightly prefer the Bare Escentauls. I tried one from L’oreal and the smell was awful when it was on me. I literally thought it was cat pee (I have dogs) and had to scrub it off

St Tropez here too. I’m usually pretty pale and this one never looks orange

@solidarity: I got it at Walmart! I was actually there to pick up another Jergens, but I noticed the Olay one.. Jergens was something like $8.79 and the Olay was like, $4.47.. I tried it on a whim and love it!

Just had to share with you ladies! I have a few favs – But one is my new Holy Grail!!!
I like “xen-tan gel” from amazon — LOVE IT, color develops in 3-4 hours so it doesnt take too much time.
I also like Tarte Maracuja self tanner off QVC — Its customer top rated, people go nuts over it.
I also like Mystic Tan Self tanning Lotion off amazon — easiest to apply.
My new Holy grail is the Josie Maran Self Tanning Body Wash from QVC. Its completely sold out right now so Im hoping they restock like ASAP!!! SHe gives you a loofah with a long handle & you basically get your skin wet, rub in circular motions and rinse off after 1-2 mins…. NO SMELLLLLLL AT ALL! And I have the best glow! I used it 3 times last week and got compliments:) I love that its instant, no waiting for hours or the smell.
Hope this helps you ladies!:)

@Stephville: Do you use it on your face too?
@sunshinebee: No, I did in the past but I stopped because I can just alter the color of my face with a bit of matte bronzer, which is way easier.
After I put the tanner on my upperbody I do take whats left on my tanning mitt and do a quick swipe around the front/back/sides of my neck so I can have a seamless tan from my bronzer to my self tanner
