We live in the UK but spend a lot of time in Philadelphia, we heard about this form of ceremony and think this is the way we want to be married. I have got some information about obtaining the license but can’t find any rules on where the ceremony can be held, can any one help me please thanks

Hi! My fiance and I are considering a self uniting marriage ceremony. You can have the ceremony where ever you want! You just need to be sure you have two witnesses to sign the form 🙂

is right you can have the ceremony any where and all you have to do is have the two witnesses sign. We only had one problem with ours that was really minor. I didn’t know the exact address of the park we were married in so I just put the park name and city. A week or so after submitting I got a call from the license office and they wanted an actual address. Since neither the lady on the phone or I knew one for the park, we just used our home addy (consequently where our witnesses signed anyway) and it went through fine. =) If you have any other questions about it, just let me know as we did ours in Allegheny Co. last September.
