Hey Ladies!!<br /><br />So, my fiance and I are not religious. I’m agnostic and he’s Roman Catholic turned atheist. My friends suggest having another friend be ordained online to perform the ceremony, however, those type of ceremonies are not considered “Legal” in delaware county pa. So another friend said a self uniting marriage would better suit our needs. I was thrilled until I saw the horror stories of how Delco does not recognize certain “Quaker” marriages. Then I began looking up prices for offiaciants and was baffled at how expensive it is to have a religious stranger who does not share our view come out for 30 minutes to marry us. I wonder did anyone have anything positive to say about self uniting unions?
