I personally will keep mine. It has a lot of sentimental value.

I know my daughter will probably not wear it…I don’t expect her to. But to be able to show it to her and look back at it from time to time is a big deal for me ๐Ÿ™‚

If you don’t need the money, keep it!

Depends! There are a lot of practical bees here! As for me, and being a keeper-sucker, i would never, ever sell my w-dress. Don’t know if any of my daughters will want it, but i wish i had had the opportunity to chose, since my mum turned hers into pillows!

It’s not my wedding yet, but I think I might try to sell mine – extra money never hurts and I really think it’ll just sit in a box for the rest of my life!  Might as well let someone else enjoy it as much as I did ๐Ÿ™‚

Also depends in the condition it’s in after the wedding!

Definitely keeping mine. Like someone else said, I know my (future, hypothetical) daughter probably won’t want to wear it – but I remember trying my grandmother’s dress on all.the.time. as a kid. My mom borrowed a dress, otherwise I’d try hers on too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I loved dressing up in it!

That being said, you really just NEVER know. I know a lot of people who wore a family gown with alterations to make it their own. A good friend of mine wore her grandmother’s gown and it was stunning!

I just can’t part with mine! It’s catching dust but it’s become very sentimental for me! ๐Ÿ˜€

I’d want to keep mine, even if there is no logical reason I’d be too attached.

I’m not really sure whether I’d keep it or sell it. I tend to have emotional attachments to special things so a part of me believes I’d keep it but the other part of me would like someone else to enjoy it just as much as I did. Hmmmm guess we’ll have to wait and see a year from now! lol
