I posted my wedding dress for sale on Craigslist and got this rather strange email from someone wanting to buy it. I’ve only gotten two emails from this person, the one below, and one before it simply asking if it was still available. The first email did not ask for any pictures or further information about the dress, just a simple "Is it still available?" but I went ahead and replied back with pictures and more info. No further questions about the dress. The potential buyer is not local (Craigslist warns about scams from distant buyers). I smell a scam. Has anyone heard of iversacheck.com? And the bit about "you will deduct your fund and send the remaining fund to the wedding planner…" – huh?? And what’s with me having to pay $20 to get payment?? I’m probably not going to reply but want to know what the hive thinks. Has anyone gotten anything like this?
