Definitely not, I received many of the near exact wording when selling mine. You tell him youonly accept PayPal advance pay or cash. He won’t respond I promise

NO WAY. That is a rip off waiting to happen. In this day and age, just about everyone has a Pay Pal account. Go that route.

No. Not at all. It is a classic internet classifieds scam. I would only sell the dress to someone that can give you money in hand in person… or possibly on ebay if they pay via paypal, because that’s secure.

@cherryblossomlove:  ugh…I got an initial inquiry from akinjames too – but never heard back. I guess I won’t bother with that one. This sort of thing is so incredibly annoying. What a waste of time!!

I think your safest bet is probably using escrow.com

Those of you who are selling using paypal….how does that work? Do you have buyer deposit money first, and then send dress? Would buyer feel comfortable doing that without seeing dress? Just trying to think about it from both sides.

Never send money to anyone, YOU are selling the dress, he should be SENDING you all the money up front if he wants the dress!
